AAPO LAPPALAINEN - Arctic Production Partner

Aapo Lappalainen is a Finnish photo and video producer based in Levi, Kittilä, Finnish Lapland. He produces photo and video content for brands and companies in northern conditions – from campaigns to ongoing content collaborations.

A deep connection to the northern environment guides Aapo's work. Sixteen years in the Defence Forces have given him the confidence to move and operate in the Arctic environment: in the bitter cold, the pitch darkness and changing weather conditions all year round. He knows how to anticipate, plan and ensure that people, equipment and schedules work even when conditions are not flexible.

When this expertise is combined with strong photography and videography skills, a rare combination is created. For the brand, it means fewer risks: the shooting dates are consistent, the equipment works, and the end result is certain – in conditions that many productions don't dare to venture into.

Aapo has produced numerous productions for major brands and companies. He works on commercial productions, brand campaigns and events. Whether it's a large campaign or a smaller documentary shoot, natural light, the environment and real moments are at the center of his work.

Aapo values close collaboration with his clients and knows how to turn ideas into impressive visuals. He is very social and enjoys working with people. Working with him is natural and straightforward.
